This Privacy Policy explains how AI Makify collects, uses and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). We take your privacy seriously and design our product so that most sensitive data stays on your device.

We may collect basic account information (such as email or username), usage data related to looks you create, and technical data such as device model, operating system and app version. For real-time try-on, camera frames are processed in memory only and are not stored on our servers.

2. Face & Image Data

AI Makify follows a “local-first” design. Face landmarks and try-on data are calculated on your device whenever possible. Unless we clearly state otherwise and obtain your consent, we do not upload raw face images or biometric templates to the cloud. You can clear cached looks and photos inside your system settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to provide core features, personalise recommendations, maintain security and improve the Service. Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be used to understand trends such as popular looks or device performance without identifying individual users.

4. Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud infrastructure or crash analytics), under strict confidentiality obligations. When required by law, we may disclose information to comply with legal processes or protect users and the Service.

5. Data Security & Retention

We use technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit, access controls and regular security reviews to help protect your information. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your Choices

You can manage certain privacy settings in your device OS (such as camera and photo permissions) and within the app. In some regions, you may have additional rights such as requesting access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data. You can contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Protection of Minors' Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of minors and have implemented restrictions on their use of this application. Users under the age of 18 are not permitted to use this application.

8. Updates & Contact

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We may notify you of such updates within the application or through other means. The updated Privacy Policy will take effect upon publication, and your continued use of this application constitutes your agreement to the new Privacy Policy.
